Tank tumbling basics- revisited.30 Dec 2006 17:56 GMT7
"Revisited" because I got some great tumbling info here about 6 years
ago... I'm back for more.   8^)
My main goal is to choose a substitute for the aluminum oxide chips I
use for a second "cleansing tumble", since I think it's still leaving a

Am thinking about getting these two with my Xmas cash - seems reasonable
value and I will use the camera a lot for family photos and snorkling as
well as diving. Its only hobby stuff I need it for , but don't want to buy a
duff set up.
Advice on Suunto Mosquito28 Dec 2006 05:22 GMT7
I am a newly qualified OW diver looking to get my first computer.
Looking at computers on the market I have been eyeing up the Suunto
Mosquito.  It has all the functions of the Vyper but in a package that

Suunto Cobra PC interface cables?27 Dec 2006 21:40 GMT8
Anyone know of a good source?  I have issues with paying  CDN 1000.00 for a
dive computer only to learn I have to fork out 200.00 more to get the dang
cable.  Bought a knock-off version on eBay... worked for about three months
before the contacts were bent/worn.
Look Ma, No Flash20 Dec 2006 12:18 GMT15
Last week I tried something new - new for me that is.  I took all my
photos with natural light only.  The good news is that the good ones
were much better than they would have been with flash.  No shadows and
no backscatter.
Tampa/St. Petersburg area diving?19 Dec 2006 14:33 GMT6
Does anyone have any recommendations on dive shops/boats that do trips
out of the Tampa Bay/St. Pete's area of Florida?  I'll be going there
in late January and want to do some diving (gulf and/or fresh water).
I've seen several shops/outfitters on the web but was looking for any

I was wondering if any of you have a good online source(preferably in
north america) for filter packing materials?  I need to buy a decent
quantity to take with me to south america.
