Need 5 to 15 Minutes of Air for Emergency Boat Repair30 Jul 2004 08:51 GMT10
First time poster - non diver - please forgive ignorance
Went fishing in Gulf of Mexico in a 40 ft. boat yesterday and ran into a
little problem. Got some rope around the prop and had to go under to cut it
out.
Boot of drysuit to large27 Jul 2004 22:34 GMT7
I got a used dry suit, but find that the boot is a bit to large. What are
the options to deal with this (replace boot, ???)

OK, I'll start a long thread, lets talk best semi-dry, or spend $$ for dry26 Jul 2004 03:03 GMT11
I've been trying out some of the local quarry action this summer, and I went
off and left my 3mil at the quarry last weekend. I am always amazed at my
ability to be a total idiot at times. But I digress.
I'm looking at replacing it with the Mares Isotherm semi-dry. Right now in
Suunto Vyper or Aeris 2 EAN?21 Jul 2004 15:26 GMT4
Close in price, seem to be a close match in features.
Thoughts?
Aeris Atmos 2 or Oceanic Versa Pro 221 Jul 2004 07:08 GMT1
I'm interested in picking up one of these computers a/ my Commander crapped
out 3 times in the last 10 or so dives.  Crochran tech support wasn't
interested in trying to fix it (it's obsolete) and wanted me to buy a new
Commander.  I'm looking elsewhere.
Hydro Optics anyone seen these masks?21 Jul 2004 00:31 GMT1
I go for an eye exam tomorrow, (was overdue anyway) but it looks like I
might actually be one of the lucky ones who can use this mask without
contacts.

Cobra Nitrox Setting20 Jul 2004 03:36 GMT9
Could somebody walk me through the steps (i.e., what buttons to push
when, and how many times) to get my Cobra into Nitrox mode?  I've got
and have read the manual, but I cna't make it happen.  I did manage to
set the time and date, which I consisdered a major triumph :)
Are Henderson wetsuits really better?17 Jul 2004 20:07 GMT15
I am in the market for a 7mm wetsuit for diving in the Pacififc Northwest.
I'd prefer a Farmer John + jacket combo as that's what I'm used to and the
combination keeps me a bit warmer.  I've read that Henderson "gold core"
hyperstretch wet suits are the Cadillac of the industry, and ...
Underwater housing for Canon G3 14 Jul 2004 16:49 GMT2
I have been seeking some affordable housing for my G3. It seems that only
Ikelite (www.ikelite.com) and Uwe Klein (www.uk-germany.com) makes housing
for that camera. Only problem is that those housings costs almost double
than G3 camera itself  .
