Suunto Cobra 2 experiences

Hi,
I would like to hear some experiences with this computer.
I was wondering why the 3rd one was introduced that fast after the
2nd.
Was number 2 a failure?

If you go to the suunto site and choose the two models you can get the
comparison chart up:

Cobra 3 has
tilt sensor
NO suntosports.com benefit (whatever)

other than that they appear identical!!

Oh, 3's write up mentions a simulation mode
