I don't have much diving experience from different sites but I have dived a
few times at Porth Ysgaden, N Wales (grid ref SH215375). You can drive right
down to the sandy beach there, although you can't park, so you'll need a
driver buddy. There is an interesting shore dive, in a nice unspoilt area.

Greenends Gully, Eyemouth - park right next to the water (although it
does get a little busy at weekends), then walk down a concrete path (in
fact a former sewage pipe that at high tide extends all the way into the
water). Ask for directions in Aquastars dive centre (who will also do
you a guided dive if you want one) if you get stuck.
