My wife and I did El Gouna the two weeks before Xmas. We dived with Easy
Divers Academy because it was in the resort complex we were in (The
Rihana). This meant maximum convenience for us, three minutes walk from
our room to their place and it was next to the beach bar on your return.
They seemed professional, supplied free nitrox, their day boats (three)
were clean with a good level of food on board. We dived from two of
them.

They offered the option of guided dives or if at least one of a buddy
pair had enough experience you could do your own thing within the limits
laid down by the Diver Master.

Draw backs:

It was very windy and from the north which meant many of the dive sites
were off limits, but it gave us the opportunity to dive reefs on the
south side not usually available.

The heat of the day was short. 9:00am to 3:00pm. Evenings were cold, ski
jackets were a common sight. Sea temp 23 to 25c.
