>1) What is the duty free limit for fags/booze coming back?
Apart from the duty free you can use within 24? hours of entering the
country there isn't a duty free. (Well I've never seen one.)
>Any tips on where to buy?
Are you in Sharm or Naama Bay?
>2) Drink the water?
Only bottled and make sure its a known brand and got a top that's shrink
wrapped on. I've seen an old geezer behind a shop toping up empty
bottles with tap water through a cheap filter and banging on the plastic
tops that break when you open them.
>Eat the salads/ ice in drinks etc?
Most bars and restaurants are OK.
>3) Who to use for the best price/facility ratio
Say if you are in Sharm or Naama and I post some details.
>Anything else need to know?

Ah... The "Carry On" place.
When it comes to super markets or gifts, Naama is the place.
Only use the super market on the main drag. "King of Bahrain St. His
Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa" Its between La Favourite and
Dananeer both very good restaurants. Thinking about it Dananeer is
definitely the best.
If it's just sea food, Sinai Star in Sharm is the place to go.
Drinks: Naama walk passed the Red Sea Dive Collage and on passed
Movenpick, both on you left. Passed a guy on the right cooking in a bead
oven and then look for a bar with a stage on the right as you face the
sea. Drinks half price up till 21:00.
Mid day meal try the restaurant on the beach: "Sea View Restaurant".
Just passed RSDC on your left Part of Kanabesh Village, excellent
eating. Look out for the guy that runs the place, small elderly man with
impeccable manners. Get him to teach you some Arabic.
The Super Market that faces the big car park and the casino will rip you
off and the two guys that work there think it's allowed to get their
hands all over any good looking women.
If this is the sort of info you are after, I can come up with more.
