Lycra dive skin

For health reasons I've had to give up diving but I still like to snorkel.
I've been looking for what I think is described as a lycra skin suit or a
lycra rash suit, about 6 oz. with a SPF of about 30, which I think would fit
my need  for something to prevent sunburn.  Here in U.K. it is extremely
hard to find these suits, although rash vests can be found. However full
suits seem to be readily available in the U.S., but usually the company
won't ship abroad.

I have found one here in U.K. (Camaro Skin wetsuit) which costs about £68
(before P&P), but in the U.S. a  different brand, slightly better-sounding
one is available  for about $40 (or £20), but as I say, they don't ship
outside the U.S.  I find the price difference staggering, frankly.  I have
also found a Typhoon one-piece lycra undersuit in this country for £50, but
with no details about the SPF.

If anyone here has any knowledge of U.K./European dive shops that sell this
type of item, especially at a more reasonable price, I would be grateful to
hear about them.  I don't know why there's such a huge price difference
between here and the U.S.

Thanks,

someone

Try ordering from diversdirect.com. They carry them and they ship. I presume
they'll ship to the UK.

If that doesn't work, let me know and we can explore other options. If
nothing else, you can order it, I can pick it up (their Fort Lauderdale
store is local for me) and I'll ship it. Size, brand, etc. selection is your
problem, and risk, but I can help with the delivery.  What's the VAT on
novelty items?

Hello, I tried to reply to you personally but my msg to your server was
blocked as spam.

Can you please email me at humbernutz_ATT_yahoo_DOTT_com (using the more
usual format, of course) so I can try resending my message to you.

Thanks,
