Diving knive with or without wirecutter?

When I am buying a diving knife, must it have a wirecutter or not?

How much wire do anticipate?

If you're worry about wires and nets you're better of with (SS trauma)
shears.

The question is not so much "must it have" as should it have. That depends
on where and how you dive. Having something that will cut wire, is never a
bad idea unless it significantly increases the complexity of your gear.
