Black Sea Diving

Is there any?

Was just celebrating news of a business trip to Turkey (hurray, pack
gear) , but then found out its to Samsun and according to google the
whole Black Sea cost is
prohibited to diving.

Is this right?

From what I recall seeing on a Discovery-type prog. on Sky, sounds like a
good idea! It appears there are intermittent waves (undersea waves of
current, rather than things that break on the shore) that carry toxic gases
in soln around the coasts so that what life there is - and it is v sparse -
is limited and restricted to rather shallow levels, IIRC.
