This torch came 25th in the Divernet Design Classics poll, so I'm hoping
someone out there has found a cheap source for replacement bulbs?

I bought some great new Ansmann C-cells, charged them up, popped them in
and the bulb went ping.

The bulb seems to be a narrow, prefocused 5V 7.2W halogen push-fit one.

Any ideas?

Cheers

I couldnt find any cheaper than simplyscuba.com
Actually couldnt find many places to get them from, they dont seem very easy
to find. One of the features on the ad is "These bulbs utilize a standard PR
style base allowing emergency replacement with bulbs available everywhere."
I bought a spare as well.

The bulbs have just arrived.  The 5.2V long burn bulb is significantly
less bright than the original bulb - less white too.
