Hi
I've just had 200.00 ukp per month loaded onto my mortgage insurance because
I dive
Does anyone else have this problem & more importantly, can you suggest a
scuba savvy insurance company who don't increase the premium this badly?
I'm looking anywhere but Royal Liver
many thanks

I went with the Nigel Hewitt view of "I haven't died yet - not even once..."

However when I was trying to decide, someone suggested Norwich Union as a
reasonable bet.

Cheers

Hey not fair.
When I had dependants I had life insurance that
covered "Competitive Motorsport".

I don't need life insurance now. The kids get
the house and they can fight over custody of
the dog.

While I've got you...
Any Icebreakers pictures?

Yeah, some quite alright ones - just haven't had time to process and
upload - maybe next week...

Norwich Onion have just (ie in today's post) loaded us on our new mortgage
insurance and were incredibly thorough (hmm, perhaps picky is a better word)
in their questions. However, it was nowhere near the increase quoted by
Hilary. From memory it went from £30 to £70.

Questions about diving beyond 50m and internal wreck exploration kinda "turn
points into prizes".

Per month? Loaded?
This kind of implies you are thus paying £250 (or more!) per month for
insurance against your life?
£3000k a year?
Are you 70? Do you have a house worth a million?

Maybe I'm out of touch, but surely life insurance is not that expensive?

I've just got an online quote for NU, as a 40yr old smoker of only £40pm
(ok, no mention of diving asked or in their T and C's) and DAN will
cover me for X million for killing a student for £120 per year.

Something wrong somewhere.

Hi Guys
Many thanks, will check out Norwich Union & while some days I may feel 100
that's not what's on the birth certificate!
I'll make enquiries & I knew you guys could help, thanks
Hilary

No insurance is cheapest ! (i.e. first direct)

Probably only sensible if you do not have any dependants/responsibilies..
