IceBreakers 2006

With just over a month to go, I thought I'd best plug IceBreakers again.

For the uninitiated, it is a weekend at Stoney Cove on the first weekend
after New year (so the 7th and 8th of Jan 2006) to meet greet, see in the
new diving year, have a beer and a laugh...

...and not much more really.  Previous years have seen Nigel Hewitt finally
kill the Passat with the most amount of kit ever seen for two divers, some
guys from Nottingham(?) Uni inflating the most unusual SMB ever (an eight
foot snowman - and there are rumours of a repeat performance...) as well as
other silliness.

Accomodation can be provided at much cheapness just along the road at the
Ibis hotel, which forms a suitable base for going out to the George (I
think) for excellent food and beer on the Saturday night.

Costs are in the "much cheapness" bracket, two days entry to Stoney (which
has risen a bit these days...), the hotel was something silly like 12 quid
pppn (this will be confirmed depending on numbers) if you share.  In fact,
the food and beer will probably cost more than the beds and diving!!!

Anyway, if you aren't on this list...

...and you want to come, let me know and let me know if you need a bed.

See you there!

Cheers

Appologies John!  That *was* the reason for the question mark...  (actually
the real reason was me being a lazy bugger and not going and finding out...)

Sorry!!

It goes up to £15 for non-members (from £12) on the 6th Jan, so perhaps
you ought to have it the weekend before ;-)

Which is the other reason for the post - I've been so damn busy with so many
things that I've been a bit rubbish at keeping on top of these things...
