Shams Alam or Movenpick El Quesir

Am looking at one of these hotels for a one week break in October.
Movenpick looks like a nicer hotel but diving more varied at Shams
Alam. Anyone had good/bad experiences of either hotel and the attached
diving centres? Thanks, T

My wife and I spent a week at the Movenpick in El Quesir at Easter. I
posted a trip report shortly afterwards in here (I think) and
rec.scuba.locations. A little google searching will bring up a copy.
Feel free to ask if you want to know more.
