Hi, can someone help with some info please concerning the AI exam? I
know there is an open book standards exam to do at the end and a pass
of 75% but can this be retaken if needed? Also someone has told me that
an instructor pre assesment exam will have to be taken as well and I am
querying this as i have no idea what this is! Is it similar to the DM
type of questions? Any help on what type of thing this last bit
involves would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Would that be the BSAC AI exam, or something else?

Yup, it's called 'Open Water Instructor' ;-)

I wondered about that too - but I'm pretty sure from the context he
means the PADI Assistant Instructor. Which I know nothing about, so kept
schtum.
