Well, this is probably different from the usual 'what to take?' question
which results in items like: wet suit, BCD, snorkel, regs, mask, fins etc..
I visit diver mates in Jamaica, and they ask for Colemans mustard, Heinz
Salad Cream, pickles and newspapers!
What to the DMs in Hurghada and Sharm lust for?
Doing a week on 'Emperor Fraser' out of Hurghada, and 9 days at Sharm with
Red Sea Dive College.
Cheers and salaams to all!

I've seen instructors at Ocean College get excited about Branston.

Weird my daughters both bring me a bottle when they visit me, it is
one of the many little luxuries that one gives up if you enjoy living
near warm water.

Apart from young women... as very aptly pointed out by someone already,
I have found that Marmite / Vegemite are in demand. If you're feeling
very generous, then some vacuum packed bacon (stick it frozen in a
towel in your hold baggage - seems to stay frozen probably as holds are
cold) will get you *serious* brownie points. Bacon, especially good
bacon, is very hard to get in places like Egypt.
More often than not, an offer to hand carry back a knackered laptop,
camera housing etc. for repair and save the high mail cost via DHL etc.
during the week will be appreciated as much as "goodies" at the start
of the week.
Cheers, Jules.
