We are going to Sonesta Beach Resort in January. Have the pleasure of going
with `she who must be obeyed` and `ankle biters` !! Have had permission to
go diving for 3 days while I am there..........

Am only a recently qualified OW, so am after a good dive center that is
local to Sonesta Beach Resort. They have one in hotel grounds.....Anthias
Diving Center, but have, without success, searched net to find comments from
customers etc.

Has anyone been to Sonesta? Anyone used Anthias?
Or can anyone recommend a good centre that is near Sonesta.......Will be
taking my own regs, bcd etc out with me so dont want to have to lug it miles
every day, or is it normal for the dive center to pick you up from your
hotel?

Sonesta is a nice hotel, it is a bit out of the way which may be good
with kids.

Don't know Anthias we used another school which I did not like that
picked us up by cab. If I went back I would use Red Sea College who
are about five minutes walk from Sonesta

I'm torn between Red Sea College and Sinai Divers in November. Both do a
premium deal where the number of divers on a boat is limited to 10 and 8
respectively. Red Sea College is 485 euros for 5 days, and Sinai is 385
euros for 5 days, including 3 dives per day, (if appropriate), nitrox,
and Sinai have no supplement for Dunraven.

My other half has been to Sharm twice and dived with Camel, (OK), and
Mr. Dive, (never again!). She heard good things about both of the above.

I came back from there just over a week ago. The Sonesta beach is right next
door to Oonas divers at the end of the bay. They were great, I dived with
them for 6 days. They have a very good reputation and I can see why.
