RYA VHF Instructors Course

Hi can any one tell me any thing about the RYA VHF Instructors course is the
exam hard.

Ummm.... surely thats a bit of a pointless question?  Its hard if you don't
know how to use a VHF radio!  If you do know and you can teach that to
others then its going to be easy for you.  As (I think) Chris Tarrant says:
"its only easy if you know the answer".

Try contacting the RYA, they'll most likely have some material detailing the
structure of the exam they can send you, and if theres a written part then
probably have some sample papers too.

been there - done that, teach it regularly. As DW says its easy if you
know the subject-if not one should not inflict a lack of knowledge on
others :duh
New dsc radio system is the way to go. Definite advantages not only with
push button distress calling, but for clubs with several boats group
calling and individual boat calling is a distinct advantage particularly
if the other boat is motoring when you want him to hear your call.
