Just a quick question, if some kind soul could help me out. I am looking for
the location of the Scubapro/UWATEC European Headquaters as I have had some
problems with a UWATEC computer and want to make a complaint. I have looked
at the Scubapro and UWATEC web sites but it doesn't say which is the
headquaters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks  for the info Frank

New Aladin Air Z computer, failed on first dive with "Err" message. Took 5
weeks to get repaired. Failed again after only 10 dives, screen went blank
this time at a depth of 25m, was ok on the next dive then failed again on
the dive after that. Thank goodness for the backup. The computer was
returned 2 weeks ago with a request for a replacement. Since then, silence.
As i'm sure you can understand, I am not a happy camper so want to make a
complaint and copy it to the European HQ. Two failures within 5 months aint
good.

As an additional data point, I have a mate who got a new Air Z when
the battery in his Air X died.

His new Air Z failed on his first dive.

Bit late now, but if you have two goes on anythng (especially something as
life-critical as a computer) and it doesnt work both times then you should
demand a full refund from the shop you bought it from. Under Trade
descriptions
you have the right for a refund as the computer has not performed as they
(the
company) has said.

If (on it's return) it still doesnt work or fails, demand a full refund and
buy another
brand.

Not anti-Uwatec by the way, just anti putting up with cr*p. If it's new and
broke
why does anybody accept a repair?????????
Demand a new one!!!!!!!!!!

I have told them that I wanted a replacement. I have since heard back that
Uwatec are going to replace it. I'm a bit happier now bit still anoyed at
the time taken and at having 2 failures in 5 months. That said having dived
with Aladin computers for 8 years, I have never had a problem before.
