We've got a few days off and want to buzz on down to the Florida Panhandle.
Looking for recommendations on decent wrecks around Panama City / Pensacola.
Generally, what depths are the arificial reefs and wrecks sunk at?
Also, how far are the fresh water rivers (Crystal, etc) from there?
thanks

What year was it published and was it a UF callaberation? The reason I ask
is I had a book (7 years old) which listed Long/Lat. and Loran DTs for
Florida. It was great.
Have you got a web site for the book?
We hunt off Daytona and Cocoa a lot on artificial reefs, The Lead and the
Damocles wrecks I found in that book! Seven years ago I saw a yellowfin tuna
inside the pilot house of the Damocles. It was bunched-up to fit inside,
measuring five feet high and four feet long. It had the tell tail knife
edges going up the belly and down the back with a half moon tail. It turned
to check me out with an eye 10 inches across! I put my Q60 on him and the
whole room lit up yellow with the light bouncing off his scales What an
awesome dive. Just out of curiosity I aimed my little JBL 24" at him. I felt
like a little boy in a toy store. Since then I bought a AB Biller 48".
On mothers Day I got this...

I'm sure you can pick it up at your local dive store perhaps....
I just bought anothe book called (I think) "Guide to wrecks and reefs
in the Gulf of Mexico". If you are interested in this one, let me
know and I'll get the ISBN number so you can order it.
(best to email me, remove the no-smap part)
