Just a point, since moving here I have found some really great local
eats that are cheap. If you tend to stay in the hotels and dine, it's
of course pricey. Ask the locals for their faves or here are a few of
mine:

Grill Terrace  - grilled chicken for about 4.00 USD
Giby's  - great local fish and fungi
Rose Inn - super goat and BBQ
Casablanca - the best Argentinian beef and the plates and servings are
huge so you often have lunch for the next day.

Annie,

Thank you for the advice.  This especially hit the mark as my wife is
a none diver but adventurous when it comes to sampling the local
cuisine.  Goat is on the list to try, thank you for the reference.
