Just to inform everyone Calamari. There is no longer a resort by the name of
Maya Ha in Mahahual. The hotel to which you refer is now known as Maya Palms.
It has been purchased by an American couple who have been involved in the
dive industry for over thirty years. The old Maya Ha had been getting a
really bad rap and rightfully so. That’s why the name change.
“Nitrogen Addict” was in our employ for a short period of time. Unfortunately
nitrogen is not his substance of choice and he is still seen lurking about
town. I have been working for the current owners for over fifteen years and
we have brought our experience to Mahahual to provide the services divers
expect from a full service facility.
