Let me ask the same question a little different.  Where is the best diving
on Grand Cayman?  Is it to the east, south, west, or north?  Where do I go
to do this diving?  Is a boat required?  Should I sign up before leaving the
States or not?  I called Bob Soto.  They want commitment two weeks in
advance to guarantee a spot on the boat.

I'm staying at Treasure Island.  I'm thinking that's to the west.

Thanks, Rocky.

I like the north side diving, east has its afficionados, west is okay in
spots but not so great, south is nice, but strictly for when the weather
prevents you going elsewhere.  There is shore diving, but for the best go by
boat.  From TI the east end is a haul, so west and north are your best bets.
Do not sign up for any use it or lose it deal, there are 30 or so dive ops
on the island, so try one and see if you like it; if not, switch.  My
favorites are Red Baron (not, absolutely not, Red Sail), Off the Wall and
Wall to Wall.

That would be north and slightly east - Little Cayman.  Get there on a
plane... for schedule, etc., do a search on Island Air.

Agree.  My wife and I did 9 days at Paradise Villas / Paradise Divers.  Not
as popular as LCBR, but we thought it was outstanding.  Bloody Bay is not to
be missed.
