Hi,

I would like to do a live-aboard-trip (2 or 3 days) from Townsville. I
read about the Aquarius III which starts from Townsville. Has anyone
any recent experiences diving with the Aquarius (III)?

Thank you very much.

I did my first Coral Sea trip on Aquarius in 2000, the boat was a little
rough and ready but the crew were great and of course the diving was
fantastic, i have one or two photos of the boat if you are interested.

Thank you, Dave. What do mean with "rough and ready"?
And yes - I'am very interested in the photos :-) Would you send them
to me gross@earlybird.com ? Thank you very much.

G'day Claudia,

http://www.divingdreams.com.au/aquariusfloor.html

Last time (Reef N Yongala trip) (Dec 2002) the boat was your basic
live-aboard. A bit squeezy with a full group. Food was good and crew
excellent. If you want pampered luxury then this is not the boat for
you. OTOH it is comfortable - it has that lived in feel. I prefer it to
the real upmarket boats (so does my wallet).

regards,

John
