I'm going to have some opportunities to visit St. Thomas, USVI, several
times over the next few months on business. I'll somehow arrange my time
to do a little underwater exploring. Anybody got any recommendations
about operators or other useful info?
TIA,

Over 12 years of visits to my step-daughter in St. Thomas, I've dived
with most of the shops on the island and there are several good shops,
but my favorite is Blue Island Divers. Their web site is at
http://blueislanddivers.com/ They have a lot of really good sites
including my favorite, the WIT Shoal wreck. They are friendly, safe,
and are great people. I have also dived with Chris Sawyer, Aqua
Action and Barefoot Adventures. and they are all very good shops but
Sawyer and Aqua Action are on the other side of the island from Blue
Island Divers, and I prefer the sites on the south side. I just
looked at their web site again, and I see a lot of new sites that they
weren't listing 2 years ago when I dived with them.
Again, any of these 4 companies ar3e good, but I prefer diving with
Blue Island. Enjoy your trip.
