We are heading back to DR . We have been all over caribbean over the last 18
years. We were thinking of going back to Bonaire, but flights were hassle so
we opted for cheap and easy. Diving on south coast of DR is all right, but
we will get wet.  price from ny for two  9 nights 10 days (Iberostar
Dominicus), food, drink transfers, and airline is ...2700. Diving will be
another 500 for me( 16 dives). Next year I'm voting for Belize(1 trip) or
Bonaire(5 trips)...... You got to plan your following trip before you go on
your next trip(-:)

i thought diving in La Romana was very good. it get low dive pressure so
the reefs were real healthy. here are some pics:

Thanks for sharing.  There were some really interesting shots there.  Maybe
I'll consider DR.

Nice pictures Elliott.
I agree diving was pretty good not like Bonaire or Belize or Cozumel; but
respectable.

Since it usually not crowded anywhere we go in Nov. we tend to get extended
bottom time. The dives tend to be 40-70' range. Several dives had alot of
life.

Food was excellent, especially the Continental Restaurant at Iberostart.

10 days away from NE in caribbean can't be all bad(-:)
