i spent a week in the company of capin lance on board the thorfinn

we had a great time on the best diving in the world and captin lance
was great to have around as it give us some one to take the pee out
of   (pappa gump and his shrimp boat)

his boat was basic and old just like him, the food was well lets just
say i was glad of the chance to loose a few pounds.

the saving grace for the thorfinn is the two ribs used to dive from
and the dive guides
the way to dive truk is not to sit over the same wreck site and 20
divers all pile of the back of the boat like oddesy.

it was fantasic diving and i bet when it was at its best the thorfinn
and pappa gump would take some beating.

i will go back but only to dive the wreck

lets hope a new breed of dive boat starts up in truk as i dont think
the oddesy has what it takes to make diving truk the once in a
lifetime trip.
