Hello,
Me and a friend have created www.aqualifeimages.com
The site covers underwater life all over this world, at the moment by
about 100 authors
We have about 900 different species in our database, which have been
put into 54 seperate categories.
Where possibble, we provide the latin name and related information. We
started this database in may 2004, and yesterday we released our 36th
release, which means we have a site update almost every month.
Our policy is to extend the database with either
- images that cover a part of aqualife which isn't on the site yet
- images that cover an area from which we don't have many images or
none at all
- or simply better images than similar ones already on the site
Everybody is invited to participate in our project. Some authors are
award winning photographers, others are just amateurs. It is supposed
to be fun for everyone, to participate and/or simply view and read
Have a look and see what you think about it yourself.
regards
Jeroen
