On the other hand:
I have just come back from 3 weeks superb diving in Mauritius:
Le Morne:
Fantastic drift dive. Sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, barracuda, nearly
every day. Current permitting!!
www.easydivemauritius.com/ Up-market operation 2 boats & Dive shop
Flic en Flac:
Dive Rampert Serpent, one of the best dives for creatures I have ever
seen.
Wreck of Tug II, Cathedral, lovely wall dive. & over 30 more spots.
Recommend Pierre Szaley www.pierre-szalay.com
More basic operation, open 23 years, very reasonable prices. Nitrox
available.
Mauritius has some excellent diving. It's harder to find but it is
there. Hire a car and get out of the hotels!
