Looking to going to either Phucket or Fiji some time soon.....pro/cons to
both?

They certainly shouldn't be "lumped" together. The best time, in my opinion
to dive Fiji is in the Austral winter - June, July and August. Whereas,
Puket is November - March.

Never been to Thailand, but I used to live in Fiji, loved the diving
and wrote about it at http://www.blue-oceans.com/scuba/fiji/index.html
