Why do people post equipmnet questions in this group when it is
clearly labled LOCATIONS... the EQUIPMENT group is what they are for.

I personally like just to be able to see the
questions/answers/comments about different and interesting good or bad
locations throughout the world and known universe, without having to
troll through lots of headers with no relevance to this group.

I am not flaming anyone, but would ask those new to the groups to
"Please" (very nicely) to keep the groups for what they are designed
for.

You will unlikely not get to the right person by cross posting because
'most' of us read all the relevant groups.

We have a good set of scuba groups here, let us keep it that way.

Oh as a suggestion I wonder if a 'rec, scuba.accidents' group might be
usefull or just plain interesting, to post the worlds scuba accidents
in. - Maybe a salutory lesson for us all when read.

..

What locations are you talking about in your post?  Heck, you don't even
mention equipment.

I read your post, thinking a "wet blanket" was some new way to keep warm
underwater, and all I got was a whiny rant that contributed more to the
problem it was complaining about than any of the posts it indicted.  Talk
about a waste of my time.  I just may sue you.

Not only that, it has already prompted two more time wasting posts.
Shameful.

BTW, Robert, messages anywhere in the rec.scuba hierarchy, tend to get to
those with the answers.  Many, perhaps most of us read and respond in all
three groups.

For what it is worth, Robert, I thought your post a perfectly valid and
constructive one.

I also agree that a discussion group on accidents or near accidents would be
interesting and beneficial.

Keep 'em, coming, mate!

There's a good and active group/mailing list at yahoogroups. It is
moderated, and there are some very knowledgeable people there. Look for
"divingaccidents"

If you make a class action - it was a waste of my time also

Or you could see a doctor and have that stick yanked out of your a.s.
