BTW, Robert, messages anywhere in the rec.scuba hierarchy, tend to get to
those with the answers. Many, perhaps most of us read and respond in all
three groups.

For what it is worth, Robert, I thought your post a perfectly valid and
constructive one.
I also agree that a discussion group on accidents or near accidents would be
interesting and beneficial.

There's a good and active group/mailing list at yahoogroups. It is
moderated, and there are some very knowledgeable people there. Look for
"divingaccidents"
