I've been to Dauphin Island and I'm sure there must be diving there
because there's a big diving center near Ft. Walton Beach which isn't
too far away.
There's an Estuarium there on the island and the ferry docks (The
ferry goes over to Fort Morgan) and Fort Gaines. We were there last
winter http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/tt/783e9/#TL although we
didn't dive.
