Who to dive with in Belize

I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on what company to go diving with
in Belize. I am going on a cruise and we will be stopping there. I would
rather not book through the cruise line since it is usually much more
expensive.
Also any good areas to dive in Belize is what I am needing. I am open
water certified.

Where is the ship docking at?

If Ambergris Caye, then Amigos Del Mar is a great operator to go out with.

I am docking at pier belize tourism dock, I am not sure if this is near
Ambergris Caye.

It is not. The ships anchor off of Belize City and I believe you are
tendered into the tourism dock.

There are day trips over to Ambergris, but if you are going to do that, I
recommend going with the cruise operator's pick. Actually, no matter what
you decide, you might just as well go with the cruise operator's pick. If
something goes wrong, then the ship will wait for you and at this
destination, it is an important consideration.

By the way, whether you go to Ambergris Caye for Hol Chan and Shark/Ray
Alley or dive Glover's Caye, don't let Belize City be the impression that
you take away of this incredible country.
