Red sea questions

We are off to the red sea and I have heard mixed stories about being able to
eat the fruits and veggies. Any thoughts on this? Also would you know what
the water temp is now?

which country? :)

You certainly don't want to eat 'vegetables' from the sea (read 'sea
cucumbers')

fruits and veg are fine as long as they're not washed by local water (so
basically don't eat any salads unless you're in a reputable hotel
restaurant etc)
