Is La Paz or Cabo the better place for diving? Any details would be much
appreciated. Thanks

Hi Jamie,

As far as I know La Paz is the best place for diving in Baja. I have
been there twice and liked it a lot. Also, unless you want to hit the
clubs every night, La Paz is a MUCH nicer town for non-diving
activities.

Enjoy the Mantas!

I have only been to Cabo and while a nice place to visit the diving
sucks.   I have heard of much better diving from La Paz although some
creatures may be seasonal.

La Paz is definitely in the right place for diving.  Cabo is the party
town and the yacht mooring place.  Take a look in that harbour and see
what the word "boat" really stands for.

Watch out for jellyfish, though.  Lots of little ones, and I got hit by
a Portuguese Man O' War a couple of years ago.  Character-building
experience, that was.
