Scuba Forum / Scuba Locations / October 2003Beaches Resort - Provo
All, I'm taking the family to T&C late next month. Since they have a pretty good day care program I figure the wife and I can do some diving. Question - Beaches stay includes daily dives. I'm wondering if anyone has gone out with the resort dive operation and how they liked it. If they aren't any good I'll arrange with another operation. TIA, Milo Beaches diving is O.K. For a cattle boat op. For a more intimate experience, go with Flamingo Divers. TCI rocks! You MUST dive West Caicos "Highway to Heaven" and "Spanish Anchor" and any site at French Cay. Have fun and look for Albert Smith on the beach, a local that will take you out lobster hunting and he makes THE BEST conch salad on the island! Chip Chip, Thanks for the reply. I'll probably take your advice and book a dive w/Flamingo. Reviews I read about Beaches were 90+% positive but they had to do with food, entertainment, rooms, child care, etc. All of those are important but I also wanted to make sure we got in some nice dives.
