If you have done deep ocean diving in the Jersey shore. Can you
recommend some dive shop?

Also, while you are here. What was your diving experience like?

With the traffic congestion in NJ, are you looking for a "good shop",
or are you looking for something that's going to be releatively close
to where you are in NJ?

For example, one of the shops I use is pretty far north & inland, so on
a normal summer weekend, the drive to/from the shore to catch a boat
can be 2-3 hours each way.  Longer if you're unlucky.

Thanks for the response.

I was hoping to find a dive shop on the Jersey shore that takes people
out to the dive site.

Shops don't take divers to the dive site. Boats do. Some shops charter a boat
from time to time.

Some boats also run "open boat", meaning there is no shop (or group) that has
chartered the boat, so you book a spot directly with the captain.

Check out http://www.njscuba.com/charter_info/boat_club_shop_index.html
as a starting point for more information.
