I've just been forwarded a copy of the Dive Magazine article "Greeks
prepare for diving odyssey" see:

<http://www.divemagazine.co.uk/news/printablearticle.asp?sp=&v=1&UAN=2492>

Our Bavaria 47 Cruiser is based on the Greek Ionian island of Lefkas,
we are very keen to promote diving in the area.

Can anyone advise if we need a licence for the boat, and how to go
about it?

Does anyone have details of the waters that have been opened?

So, one might assume that this topic is starting out as a sex topic instead
of morphing into one?

Well, one might wonder that considering that it started out as a sex topic,
how long it will take for it to morph into a SCUBA related topic... <grin>

In that case it belongs in rec.scuba.  Only morphing topics are
allowed in rs.locations.

your boat is not far from our place in turkey, you might know ogun's place
hayit buku?
by the way I know it is difficult to dive in Greece as it is in Turkey cause
there is quite antics down the sea,
You need to ask for a licence on restrictives area, it is not allowed to
dive anywhere, and if you do , hou la la !! don't get catch, greek or
turkish don't joke with that!!
ask for it from your base, port office will know about it!!
if you want some info you might found from those pages
www.grece.charterpartner.fr but it is in french.
you can also check www.ogunplace.com and look for your next holiday!!
regards
Bruno
