Hi All,

Has anybody been there recently.  How is the diving and malaria
restrictions and ease of travel there?  I would really appreciate if
somebody can post my queries.

Thanks a lot

Hi Davis,

I've been doing a live aboard around the Togian Islands in August 2004. That
was with Wallecea (http://www.wallacea-divecruise.com/).
We were lucky, with 3 people only on a boat for max 8 people. Great dive
guide, excellent food on board and superb diving.
The diving is mostly on the reefs around the islands. There is a near
complete US airplane wreck which crashed in WW2.
Seen the greater fish. The visibility varied from good to moderate esp.
after rainfall.

Since we were on a live aboard I can't tell you about ease of travel between
the islands. Boats are visiting the islands, but I don't know anything about
their frequency or whatsoever. Malaria restrictions are applicable.

Feel free to contact me for any more questions.

Cees
