Dive Destination That Have Childcare

My wife and I just had our first child, and we are getting cabin fever.

We probably will need to wait until June, but more importantly we will
need to find a destination with very reliable and well known childcare.

We cannot be the only diving parents out there looking for the perfect
Family Destination/resort.

All suggestions are appreciated.

If you want to dive, my suggestion is to ask the resort the following
two questions before makiing your deposit.

1.  When does the sprogatorium open and close?
2.  When do the dive boats leave and return?

I've seen dive boats leave at 8 with the childcare starting at 9.

Within the context of this thread, it's where you ditch the snot
gobblers so you can go diving.

If it's a language only he knows, then you wouldn't have found the entry at
all. ;^)

The answer to your question is that, with a child this young, you will have
to arrange for a babysitter at the resort. When our daughter was an infant,
that is what we did. I know that it was not difficult to find a responsible
baby sitter on Cayman Brac who came before the dive boats left. Baby sitters
were also readily available in the Keys. Contact hotels that you are
considering and ask if they can provide this service.

Babysitter, what a logical answer.  I'm glad I thought of it :)

Thank you,  Bill

When my kids were young, we went to Cozumel and stayed at the Cozmeleno
and the Diamond ( now the Allegro). They have a kids club.  The kids
need to be 4 y/o and up. It worked out great for us.  There are several
of the all inclusives which have kids clubs and allow you to leave the
resort to dive.  Check ahead as some will not let you leave the resort
to dive.

4 y/o and up = they don't want to be changing diapers.

"Parents must stay with their kids at all times" = people are so
litigous, no way are we going to be responsible.
