We're going on a cruise in December that stops at Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa and Huatulco. I've never dove in these places before and wonder if anyone has an comments on them. I've been to all except Huatulco. Puerto Vallarta is a pit. The only thing worse is Acapolco. Ixtapa is the best of the bunch. We found a nice resort in Zinwatanejo (sorry about the spelling). For $25 ea and a $10 cab ride you can spend the day on the beach. I just responded to your same question in rec.travel.cruises, giving you some references to read posts by Greg Mossman, not knowing you had SEPARATELY posted the same question in rec.scuba.locations. I think I gave a better response point to Greg's posts in rec.scuba.locations than his present response of "it sucks", though the latter is true. :-) Why didn't you just cross-post in the two groups, since the subject is of interest almost equally of the readers in both groups.
