Getting to Cozumel

Coming from the US, is it better to fly to Cancun and take one of the
services to Cozumel, or to just spend the extra money to fly straight
into Cozumel?

Thanks.
Ron Lee - 13 Nov 2005 21:50 GMT
Only you can make the trade-offs.   I often fly into Cancun then take
the bus/ferry route.  Here are details on that option:

Only an IDIOT like Ron Lee would fly from Denver to Cancun, and then
take the bus/ferry, instead of a flight to Cozumel via Houston, just to
save
a few bucks and then WASTE them paying to dive with Aldora because
they have big steel tanks to accommodate air-sucking pigs like Ron.

Because of cheapskates like IDIOT Ron Lee, Continental's First Class
seats are almost never filled, so that I not only get FREE upgrades to
First Class on the cheapest CO ticket from ATL, but I can, and have
upgraded friends to First Class, such as Apple of Dive Paradise.  On
that flight, there were 24 First Class seats, and my wife and I were
the
only complimentarily upgraded passengers.  So, I walked back to the
coach section to see whom I can recognize, to upgrade for free, on my
Platinum Elite status with Continental, and Apply was in the coach
section, so that flight had THREE passengers in First Class, still
leaving
21 seats empty.

It is called "cost-benefit" Bob.   Have you ever heard of that
concept?

For an old fart, the cost is worth it to go direct.  The older I get,
the less transfers I want to be involved with.

I did the Cancun route (but by plane) once rather than fly direct
because I took a bump on Delta and they gave me a free ticket, but
they didn't go direct to Cozumel.  (And the plane from Atlanta wasn't
even Delta but was some kind of code-share.)  I had some wrenches in
my carry on for using on the dive gear, and they confiscated them in
Cancun before the flight to Cozumel because they were "tools".  I did
get them back.

That is your choice Rosalie.  Direct is nice but for some direct
flights are not as cost effective or available.   There are other
options and my directions should help a person who chooses to go into
Cancun first.

Why are you wasting your time and ours responding to posts like this?  Bob's
doing nothing but baiting you.  Ignore him and, eventually, he'll go away .

DING DONG Lee Bell wanted so much to keep me from EXPOSING his
misinformation and bullshit that he bragged to have me in his killfile,
but couldn't resist to pop his head out on snippets of what others said
about my posts, to repeatedly make a fool of himself -- even stuck the
SAME FOOT ("do you know what EPIRB is?") into his mouth FOUR
times, before he realized the foot he shot was HIS.

Ron Lee and Alan Street would have had NO notice by anyone except
for them begging to be kicked in the a.s.  That's their only existence
in
rec.scuba.   Absolutely NOTHING they post that is relevant to scuba.

When I get tired of kicking them, then I am the one who'll tell them
that
their masochistic pleasure will be denied by their God of Worship,
me, when I say,

"NO!"

to their plead of "Beat me, hurt me, please, Bob."

I call all the shots.

Wow!  You spend your LIFE tracking my posts in rec.scuba.locations?

You should see how many of those posts were replying to the
Anal Fixation Poster Child of the Year in rec.scuba (IDIOT Ron Lee),
and Anal Fixation Poster Child wannabe in rec.scuba (Bob Crownfield).

THOSE are the very sick posters in those groups!

Did those (or any other IDIOT) post anything about SCUBA, or CRUSING,
or anything of substance in the groups you cross-posted?

> I hope to have six sessions today.

You'll see many more, you IDIOT Troll.  I've already posted news about
Cozumel arrival this morning and while killing some time waiting for
the crowd to the tenders to clear, kicked at least half a dozen DUMB
a.ses.  You are the 7th or later ones and  it's hardly 9:00 am in
Cozumel!

The only thing worse than an IDIOT is a chicken sh.t FORGER IDIOT.

The same FORGER had posted in four previous threads, in three different
newsgroups, cross-posting in FIVE ngs this time.

He also FORGED the Yahoo.com posting address, as I had learned
from Yahoo in June 2005:

Forger Reef Fish (Large_Nasty_Grouper) wrote,

> I am an a.shole who delights in ignoring the wishes of other authors.

Complaint of Forger's post to a...@yahoo.com brought a reply from

"Yahoo! Mail" <mail-advoc...@cc.yahoo-inc.com>

====== Yahoo message

Thank you for contacting Yahoo! Customer Care.

After careful evaluation, we have determined that this email message
did  not originate from the Yahoo! Mail system. The "yahoo.com"
address associated with the email does not exist. It appears the true
sender of this message forged the header information to give the
impression that it came from Yahoo! Mail.

Forging the Yahoo! domain is a violation of our Terms of Service (TOS)
and appropriate action will be taken against any accounts engaging in
such acts.

====== end excerpt of Yahoo message

FORGING the Yahoo.com email address was nothing more than what
the IDIOT thought was his cleverness in forging a similar looking
posting name and address:

REAL:       Reef Fish (Large_Nassau_Grouper)

FAKE:       Reef Fish (Large_Nasty_Grouper)

Transparent to any non-IDIOT.   Only IDIOT Ron Lee fell for it this
time.

Jesus H. Mahogany Christ, Pond Scumbag, you are incapable of

If you were not as hated as you are, Scumbag, your "friends" would not
be posting crap about you, but you wallow in the feces, and you become
one with it.

You are as foul as pig vomit and you love it.

I realize that you are married to a woman who is recovering from cancer
and her "chomo" treatments, but how must she love you for blaming her

Greg,

Mr. Miyagi got all bent out of shape when someone forged a post that people
were supposed to think came from him, cried like a baby.

The very next note was a forgery under my name, and Bobo was too stupid to
grasp that.  Instead he blasted me, and added rec.travel.cruises which was
NOT part of the original forgery in order to better embarrass me.

I'd critique his rant by suggesting that he spelled "despise" incorrectly,
but we all know Ling rule #36, "If you misspell a word you are a moron, if I

That's exactly right.  I am cross-posting this in rec.travel.cruises
too.
If that post of yours weren't a forgery, it was all the more reason why
you
LEFT OUT rec.travel.cruises to hide your shameful LIES.

If it was indeed a forged post in your name, the reason the forger
chose
YOU to forge (when he could have chosen any number of rec.scuba
idiots or the former idiots in rec.travel.cruises) was because YOU had
posted the same pathetic LIE about my wife and me.   I don't need
google
to remember that it was YOUR original lie!

In that post, you had called me a Pond Scum, as you've done numerous
times in your posts, and you repeated this LIE that's beneath even the
ethics of bottom dwelling idiots and scums like yourself:

How can you waste time on a vacation?  Vacations are all about wasting time.
I think it admirable that someone on vacation can manage to waste the time
of others who actually have something else more practical to do with their
time.  A time-stealer extraordinaire.

Perhaps, in a Dorian Grey sort of way, every bit of time he takes from your
practical life makes his vacation time grow ever longer, his body more
virile, his mind sharper, his visage more handsome.  You're creating a
monster.

I highly recommend that if you fly to Cancun, you do not take the last

rough.  We got a little sea sick.
