Which one?  Mexico has a lot of beaches.

Maybe he doesn't know any of the Mexican playas.  Why don't you tell
him the ones you know and which one you recommend?

Playa del Roquetta in Acapulco is a nice shore dive, during a cruise
luncheon break, after you watch beer-drinking 4-legged goats, and
the fire-dancing natives.

There is a dive shop at the premise from which you can rent a tank,
tied to canvas shoulder straps and dive without any BC, air- or
depth-gauge.

There's the Playa Corona on the West side of Cozumel that's very
good for diving from the shore and/or drinking Corona.

Playa Bonita on the East side of Cozumel (at Punta Chiqueros) is
a no fish no coral dive, but if the tides are right, you may get
a free ride to Cuba.

There are lots of named Playa in Cozumel alone.  Playa Bosh on the
South East near El Islote;  Playa San Juan at the North West just
south of the San Juan Reef;  and many more.

As the capitan says, there are lotsa playas in Mexico.  ;)  But
I wouldn't recommend most of them, except perhaps Playa Corona.
That's where most of the glass-bottom boats go to watch fish.
A good day or night dive to enter from near the cenote entrance
where the glass-bottom boats tend to go.

I can see it now...  standing at a bus stop trying to find a scheduled
bus to Playa.  Go ahead, Chilly, see if it works for you.

about Playa del Carmen.

I didn't mean to post the follow-up THREE times.

GOOGLE screwed up.  Each time I pressed the button to post, google
went into the tank for 10-20 secs and says "internal error, try
again after 30 seconds."  So, I tried again in 30 seconds.  :-)

It did that AGAIN, and so I tried the 3rd time.   And Google posted
the same post THREE TIMES.

So solly.

Is that why they say the only good carpenter is a dead carpenter?

And three days later he's alive again.
