visit www.mahahualhotels.com , If you want a friendly ecological resort

Chinchorro

In front of Costa Maya is Chinchorro, part of the second largest reef
in the world and It's Mexico's largest coral atoll, 240 square miles of
natural beauty. Here you can discover beautiful virgin coral, sea
turtles, dolphins, and thousands of reef fish. There are several
shipwrecks, some of them hundreds years old, canions and anchors.

Costa Maya

Costa Maya is at the south of Cancun and the Sian Ka'an Biosphere.
To the east it have beautiful beaches and to the west is surrounded by
virgin rain forest.
Costa Maya also includes a chain of reefs that is perfect for those
people who enjoy diving.

Mahahual

Just turned in to the newest cruise ship destination in the Caribbean.
The southern Quintana Roo was completly ignored by investors, but now
Mahahual is the center of Costa Maya, Mexico's newest tourist
destination.

All the runoff from puke-and-turista-filled Cancun toilets?  Sounds great.
Fortunately you Mexicans throw your used TP in the wastebasket or the water
would really be nasty.

Hi Greg Mossman

I really aprecciate all your comments about my comments, and also that you
take your time to read and visit my page; your funny and sarcastic way of
seeing life and try to hummilliate -(I'm mexican so sorry about my bad
english, I'm not get use to say offensive words in English)- the people who's
trying to say something beautiful about their country or natural treasures
and make some buck in promotion of the hotels that in some cases US citizens
like you bought with some efforts really surprised me.

I invite you if you are a really proffessional diver that explore and surf
the web a little bit more about Mayan reefs and treasures under and above the
reef, there are thousands of it. As natural like jungle, caves and cenotes
and reefs as human created like piramids and villages.

If you don't want to have mexican friends, don't you worry, there are
thousands of US people working in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Costa Maya or Cozumel
that can give you a hand. Welcome everybody to Mexico!!!

Here as usual I recommend you some pages of my own that some US people can
also recommend you for It's pictures (Taken by me so they are not very
professionals but I took it with all my effort and love for the tourism even
like you!!) and It´s content. You can make some sarcasm about the hole site,
I't will make me laugh a lot  =).

You wouldn't be surprised if you had a clue.

I'm not a really professional diver, just an amateur anti-spammer.  But if
you're offering me a free trip, including first-class transportation and
free booze, I'll gladly accept, take back all the anti-spamming, and give
you an outstanding review on unbiased boards such as Undercurrent and
Rodale's even if the place really sucks.

I have plenty of Mexican employees.  Why would I want Mexican friends?

BTW, if Mexico is so great, why do so many of you come over here?

It does sound like a hole, I'll agree on that.

LOL, that's just about all Greg does.

In fact, he's leaving this week for Cocos.

You are just going to have to accept the fact that spamming isn't very
popular and it's not just Greg that thinks so.  Not to mention, that cruise
ships are going to destroy the area that you seem so proud of right now.

Actually I'm leaving tomorrow for Cocos.  No wonder I'm stressed!

(But I'm really not.  I've been very proactive this time and now I'm sitting
around realizing I don't have too much left to do and it's downright scary -
I must be missing something)

Omar, I can appreciate your enthusiasm about that area of Mexico, it is
beautiful.  However, my personal opinion of beauty doesn't include
cruise ships that spoil the waters they promote.  Cruise ships are
pretty and confortable for the people on the inside, and nasty and
detrimental for the wildlife on the outside.  You need to understand
that I've visited the area you're promoting many times, and each time
I've enjoyed the area enough to return again and again.  But, if cruise
ships are now allowed, then my final visit has already occurred - I
won't be back.  I avoid crowds because they bring an illness against the
land and ocean, and is the reason I haven't been to Cancun in many
years.  20 years ago I liked Cozumel a lot more than I do today for the
same reason, and I know my visits to Cozumel will eventually end as
well.  I live in a highly developed area of the U.S. and my travel to
other places is always intended to provide me with something very
different - I never do anything on vacation I can do at home.  Also, I
don't spend much money here at home because I save it for when I travel.
You may not like this but you won't see any of it.

Buena suerte senor.

I agree with you, we have to take care of natural treasures and preserve them,
Cruises have been made terrific damages to the Cozumel reef, but our
goverment in Mexico is still very corrupted, Is not a secret for anybody and
I'm not defending it in any way, but for my personal opinion, It is
responsability of both parts: The tourist and the Mexicans.

Mexico has plenty of people that take care and have the knowledge to preserve
many of our wild life, and many people that just don't care.

But there are many tourists that have the education and respect for nature as
for mexicans as well, but some people that don't.

Cruises are an alternative way of tourism and for my opinion they are good
because they draw people that only stay for a while in just one place; and
the "accidents" that make damages to the reef have been for bad manouvers of
cruise captains (with the propells) and also for the construction of the dock.

I have bought lots of webpages and I am starting in this bussines and make
the compromise to everyone on this forum to make a banner campaign for the
"respect of the marine and wild life in Quintana Roo".

If I decide to make promotion, be sure that I am not starting with all this,
Spain, England and USA investors have already made a multimillion investment
here in Quintana Roo and I just want to make promotion of what is going to be
a huge all inclusive complex. If is not me It will be other so please, don´t
stop of make your complains so I can make a promotion of what is damaging
Quintana Roo.

If Cancun is not the same nowadays is because many people only came for party
and boozing and don`t explore or even care about know more about other places
like diving or archeology, you can be sure that if The money where in that
kind of people who explore and care, everything would be different. In my
pages I am trying to explain the basic feel of each destination and the party
and clubs will be the last thing I will promote(but I will promote it, I'm
not goin to lie), is not my lifestyle so really take a look to the pages and
tell me anything you will like to be promoted as "How the reef grows and how
many YEARS it takes to grow just some centimeters" and the species that are
in danger of extintion like the manatee.

Saludos
