The weather was nice enough the first week, though there was rain.  The
Christmas week was mostly rainy and often windy and miserable, though there
were some breaks.  New Year's Eve to Jan 8, the weather was absolutely
sublime.

Very nice shots, Sandi.

Nothing underwater. I don't dive, my kid does....and I'm not about to
let a 17 year old take a Nikon D70 Digital under water! :-)

She has some point and shoot stuff she needs to get developed and I
don't hold out much hope for that since photo processing leaves a lot
to be desired here in the Third World.

Sounds like you should get her a digital camera for UW work. I hear the D-70 is
excellent.

Seriously, if you trust her to dive, why are you worried about the camera?

The D70 isn´t my camera so a) I won´t loan $2000 in borrowed camera
to her and b) I don´t have an underwater housing a camera that I
don´t own.  I have a Nikon 6006, film, but don´t use it since
processing here is horrid. Since I neither dive nor snorkel, I don´t
have an underwaterhousing for that either. In the past,  I´ve rented
underwater cameras at dive shops for her. She leaves them on the boat
or in the hotel room. She´s not real into photography.

That's a pretty good reason.

Those are even better reasons.
