Hi all!
Thanks to those of you who responded to my seemingly innocent request
for advice on effects of stopping smoking and diving.
After having spent a long week in Jamaica, I can report back that there
were no adverse effects from my having stopped smoking a little over
three weeks ago.
The results: Better use of air, longer time in water, not winded from
exercise, not smelling like smoke, not discomforting other vacationers,
and overall feeling better every day.
Jamaica was beautiful, the water clear for most of the time, weather
awesome, rum plentiful!
Lets see what grows from this post!

You possibly forgot to mention the money saved supporting your habit.

Three weeks, one day, 19 hours, 43 minutes and 48 seconds. 228
cigarettes not smoked, saving $74.17. Life saved: 19 hours, 0 minutes.

Day to day...the week before was bad...
rain, wind, surf, made for undivable conditions
We got in Saturday and had a chance to meet up with some folks who
spent a lot of money to do nothing...so grateful for what I got!
Did some really cool things~ tubing on the white river, cruised the
island, drinks at Margaratville, glass bottom boats, 4 wheeling.
Good times...loved the coconut rum the best!

So the water wasn't clear all the time? Bummer.
Actually, that happens everywhere - sometimes you just get unlucky.
Was the rum clear most of the time?
