Can anyone recommend any Caribbean locations with off the beach
snorkeling within walking distance of the accommodations and a direct
flight from Dallas, Texas?

The best snorkeling I have experienced in the Caribbean has been Grand
Cayman and a small island near Grenada.  That was over 20 years ago and
I was traveling light.  This trip will include 6-12 year old kids and
grandparents.

Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions,

The best Caribbean snorkelling location I have seen is at the
Delta/Superclubs/WhateverItIsNow resort in Santiago de Cuba.  Second
best is La Source in Grenada.  Third is Anse Chastenet in St Lucia.

Is it my imagination, or do Buffalo Wings taste like chicken?

Hi Dan,

Thank you very much for the feedback. I plan to research more on the
locations you mentioned. Did these locations require a boat?

While in Grenada and I did not wander far from the main beach (Grand
Anse?).  Caricou had excellent snorkelling. so I am sure Grenada would
have been similar if I had been more adventurours.  I also had pleasant
snorkeling in St. Vincent as well.

Not for snorkelling.
