Check the archives for more details, but the general rule of thumb is
that Puerto Rico's diving is worst at San Juan and gets better the
further you get away.  The Northeast corner area out near Fajardo (sic)
gets okay marks, but the Southwest area near Ponce (or better yet, Mona
Island) are considered the best.  Unfortunately, my diving was at San
Juan instead of either of the above.

Mona Island is nice, but it ain't a day trip.

Is it my imagination, or do Buffalo Wings taste like chicken?

I agree with the previous reply.  Don't bother with anything around San
Juan.  Try to plan on either Mona and or Desecheo on the west coast.  If you
have time also check out La Parguera on the southwestern coast of the
island.  My next choice would be the east coast for a trip to Culebra.

How long will you be there and are you 'livingaboard' or 'day tripping' it?
