Used The Royal Diving Centre myself, mostly shore dives, good wreck just
offshore.

Stayed at Alcazar Hotel, using Seastar Watersports. Good operation,
Rod Abbotson knows what he's doing.

Diving is relaxed, easy - no currents, vis good, all shore dives with
depths ranging from 10m to 60+ (oops!) at the Power Station.

Have dived all over and would still go back to Aqaba. Not to mention
the magnificent excursions inland.

Enjoy!

Hi
We've been to Aqaba in December(2002) and April(2004). Very good location, choice of about 15 shore dives - on both occassions we went with Seastar and stayed in the Alcazar (Rod Abbotson in not with them any longer but Nabil runs a good operation).
We think it's really good value, the dive team, hotel staff and locals are very friendly and there are really good non dive activities inland.
We're going again in a couple of weeks.

Enjoy

I dove in Eilat (next door) in May. It was all shore diving as the wall is quite
close to shore; 3/2 neoprene without hood was fine. Water temp was 73 F but air was
hot. Feb will of course be cooler.
