I have an opportunity to go to Cura?ao next March.  We would be staying at
the "Breezes" all inclusive.  The price is right, and its a 4/5 star resort.
The diving will be extra.

Is anyone familiar with the diving there?  How about the resort?

Thanks in advance.

Ask over at rec.scuba.  Nitespark has been there.

Search the group back a while (with google for instance), there has
been plenty of discussion about Curacao.  There is also like only a
million webpages about diving in Curacao.  Great place.  And if you
managed to go there this week still, there is coral spawning (or it
should be).

Curacao is quite nice.. Like it's sister islands it has a wealth of healthy
coral, a rich diversity of marine animals and a good measure of available
shore diving. But Bonaire is just better at all of that, by a good measure,
and comparatively speaking it is much less crowded.

I think for many people they figure if they are going to travel that far for
Caribbean water they might as well do it on the better of the 3  islands.
And that would be Bonaire.

I am.  It's a lot like diving in Bonaire.

Stayed at Breezes 2 years ago for 2 weeks.
Very nice resort...excellent food.
Dove with Ocean Encounters (boat diving)...good operation.

Decent shore dive right at the resort...the all-inclusive includes 1 tank per
day.
