Could someone comments on the guides for Sharm el-Sheik (Egypt). The
only one I have found from Amazon is "Diving Guide to Sharm el-Sheik"
which has mixed reviews. Also looking for some map of the area, the
more detail the better.
Other question is about good locations a bit off Sharm. We have a
dive package for 10 dives, which will probably leave us with two days to
pick what we want to do. We are thinking a full-day escapade to a
more remote spot. Suggestions? Limit 30m.

The Thistlegorm is one of the classic wrecks of the world and can be done in
a day from Sharm - in my opinion a "do not miss" trip.

Agree with previous post that Thistlegorm is 'unmissable'.
Local site are not that spectacular.
Anywhere in Tiran or Ras Mohammed is much better.
My personal favorite is 'Shark/Yollanda' in Ras Mohammed. Failing
that, anywhere on Tiran.
